Yes this is intended. if the task is recurring “Precise” or “flexible” and scheduled to appear in a time block, you cannot delete it (fixed in the next version of the app).
The logic is that it's due. So in the next version you can either skip it, complete it, or reschedule it to another day

Note that the deleted task only pops up again when you move to another day or tab. As long as you stay in that same day, the deleted task will not show up again.
